Our approach to coaching is holistic and goes beyond standard workouts and training plans. We take the time to get to know each client, to learn about their event goals and their life outside of cycling. Work/life stress, training load, nutrition, mindset, and sleep quality all greatly influence performance, and by taking all of these factors into account, we design custom training plans to make the best use of an athlete's available training time.

Eric Frazier - Coach and Owner

I’ve been playing and loving competitive sports since high school, and around this time I started long distance bike riding with my dad. From my first ride, I was hooked, and spent all my free time and money on any and all things bikes. That’s also when I started working with bikes. I was a bike messenger and worked at a local bike shop. I learned how to race on the road from my bike messenger co-workers, and by the early 90s I started racing mountain bikes. I’ve been a competitive cyclist ever since. Over the years I’ve raced in nearly every cycling discipline, though lately, I’m more focused on gravel, marathon MTB, and enduro.

After a successful career as an advertising photographer, I decided to follow my real passion of coaching athletes. Using my years of training and racing experience as a launching pad, I started FSE Coaching. I’ve devoted a lot of time to studying the science of cycling, skills instruction, and strength and conditioning, and I’ve accumulated several advanced certifications. But it’s my love of coaching athletes that stokes my passion for this sport.

Luciana Roland - Coach

I grew up riding trails in Tunuyán, a small mountain town in western Argentina. I started racing at 8, years later I joined the Argentine National Road and Off-Road Cycling Team, for which I raced internationally for several years, and never really stopped riding.

Racing took me to professional teams in Europe, where I earned strong UCI race results. I've raced at World Cups and been proud to represent

my country at the World Championships on both road and MTB. As a four-time Argentine National MTB Champion and Pan-American Champion, I know how much work and dedication it takes to win.

During my time at the World Cycling Center, I became the first Argentine to earn a UCI Sport Director Diploma and the first to achieve UCI Cycling Coach certification at all levels — including the Level 3 Diploma, the highest qualification available.

Today I travel the world coaching and guiding athletes, bringing everything I've learned on and off the bike to the riders I work with — including remote coaching as part of the FSE team.

Cycling has always been more than a sport to me. It's the path I've chosen to inspire, connect, learn, teach and evolve. It has introduced me to extraordinary places, people, stories, cultures — and shaped the way I see and experience the world. There is a clear purpose, inspiring others to find out what they're truly capable of. I'm excited to bring that perspective to FSE and to the athletes I work with here.

I also offer a Spanish-language coaching program for athletes across Latin America — learn more here.

Josh Perreault - Coach

Growing up, when not actively competing in high school and club sports, I spent a lot of time biking and riding dirt bikes. In college, I found my passion for exercise physiology and outdoor sports, including running and rock climbing. After multiple marathons and climbing expeditions I developed a desire to help others achieve their goals through proper training and mental fortitude. I started off as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and pursued an Exercise Physiologist Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Soon after, I began training soccer players, volleyball players, and swimmers.

After a few years, I rekindled my love of cycling, especially mountain bike XC and enduro racing. I continue to compete and now coach, including on the NICA youth mountain bike team the South City Otters. Being able to help individuals of all ages identify and achieve their goals on and off the bike is something I find extremely inspiring.

I travel for work 2-4 days per week which wreaks havoc on my workouts sometimes, but Eric has always been patient and constructive as we improvise to get me to my goals. He is always willing to break down why we are doing things a certain way and what the goals of the approach are, which I really appreciate. I have been very happy with my results but happier with our relationship.
